ECONOMICS TEACHER VACANCY

A renowned secondary school in Kosofe Local Government Area, Lagos State, is seeking to hire a competent and enthusiastic Economics Teacher with a deep understanding of the Nigerian curriculum.

Core Responsibilities:

• Teach key Economics topics including demand and supply, inflation, budgeting, economic systems, and resource management.
• Prepare students effectively for WAEC/NECO and other internal assessments.
• Use real-life examples and case studies to stimulate critical economic thinking.
• Track student performance and provide academic support as needed.

Requirements:

• HND, B.Sc., B.Ed. or higher qualification in Economics, Education Economics, or related field.
• At least 2 years of experience teaching Economics at the secondary level.
• Strong grasp of the Nigerian curriculum and exam requirements.
• Excellent communication and classroom engagement skills.
• Ability to simplify complex economic concepts for learners.

Remuneration:
₦150,000 and above monthly (commensurate with experience and qualifications)
