POSITION TITLE: Mathematics Tutor

LOCATION: Abeokuta, Ogun State
EMPLOYMENT TYPE: Full-time

ABOUT THE ROLE

We are seeking a dedicated Mathematics Tutor to join our educational team in Abeokuta. This position requires a professional who is passionate about teaching and committed to helping students understand and enjoy Mathematics. You will be directly involved in shaping students’ academic journey through engaging classroom experiences and consistent academic evaluation.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Deliver specialized Mathematics instruction to students across designated classes.
• Maintain regular and punctual attendance for all assigned teaching periods.
• Conduct class tests, periodic assessments, projects, homework, and ensure proper grading and record-keeping of continuous assessments.
• Participate actively in afternoon sessions as scheduled on the school timetable.

REQUIREMENTS

Educational Qualifications

• Minimum of B.Sc., B.Ed., B.Tech, HND in Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field from a recognized institution.
• A Master’s degree (M.Sc., M.Ed.) is an added advantage.

Experience & Skills

• Minimum of 2 years teaching experience in Mathematics or a related subject.
• Strong grasp of core mathematical principles and the ability to explain complex concepts clearly.
• Experience supporting students’ learning through feedback and personalized support.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Meticulous attention to detail and strong organizational abilities.
• Capacity to manage tasks independently and collaboratively within a team.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet academic deadlines.

REMUNERATION

Monthly Salary: ₦105,000 – ₦120,000
