LITERATURE TEACHER VACANCY

A renowned secondary school in Kosofe Local Government Area is seeking to employ a qualified and passionate Literature-in-English Teacher to join its academic team.

Core Responsibilities:

• Teach Literature-in-English in line with the Nigerian curriculum.
• Guide students through prose, drama, and poetry with clarity and depth.
• Prepare learners effectively for WAEC and NECO examinations.
• Encourage critical analysis, creative interpretation, and confident expression.
• Monitor student progress and provide constructive feedback.

Requirements:

• HND, B.A., B.Ed. or higher in Literature, English, or related discipline.
• Minimum of 2 years teaching experience in a secondary school.
• Comprehensive knowledge of recommended texts and exam standards.
• Strong classroom control and communication skills.
• Passion for reading, writing, and literary appreciation.

Remuneration:
₦150,000 and above monthly (commensurate with experience and qualification)
